Front Desk Agent


Cobble Beach is looking to hire new team members for the Front Desk at Cobble Beach.  Full and part time positions available with day, evening, and weekend shifts with flexible hours.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Place, adjust and/or cancel all guest reservations at The Inn at Cobble Beach
  • Respond to all internal and external inquiries by phone and/or e-mail
  • Process group and/or guest arrivals and departure
  • Calculate charges and receive payments for all guests
  • Investigate and resolve complaints and claims and follow up with all guests to ensure total satisfaction
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms;
  • Provide general information about Cobble Beach and various points of interest in the Grey/Bruce area to guests
  • Handle wake-up calls
  • Maintain a pleasant working relationship with all associates and guests
  • Promote a safe working environment, playing an active role in reducing hazards and accidents
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
  • Written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Adapts to change with ease, is able to handle many tasks simultaneously and work as part of a team
  • A good problem solver who is friendly, energetic and demonstrates leadership abilities when dealing with challenging situations
  • Results oriented, positive, service driven with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
  • Strong team player with a great attitude
  • Prior front desk experience is an asset but not required
