The Course at Cobble Beach
Cobble Beach Golf Links was designed by Doug Carrick, one of Canada’s Leading golf course architects. Cobble Beach’s challenging links-style 18 hole golf course offers golfers a breathtaking view of Georgian Bay on every hole. The course has been sculpted to emulate the rugged hummocky terrain found on the great links courses of Scotland and Ireland. Small pot bunkers, closely mown chipping areas and hollows surrounding the greens provide the fast running, bump and run characteristics typical of the great links courses.
There’s a reason the golf course at Cobble Beach has won acclaimed awards from the likes of Golf Digest, Travel + Leisure Golf, Ontario Golf, Fairways and SCOREGolf magazines – “it combines an excellent, challenging design with relaxing scenery. The overall result is a course that will force experienced players to expand their game while helping rookies learn the wonderful sport of golf. This is a links-style course, recreating the sport as its been played for centuries with fairways that run and tumble and greens sited as by nature.”
