For over 35 years, The Kautz family has worked with and promoted sustainable viticulture. A passion for horses over generations inspired this wine’s name; sandy, well-drained soils provide its wonderfully ripe grapes. This Cabernet Sauvignon boasts deep red-purple tints and strong black currant and cherry flavours with subtle hints of blueberry, mint and eucalyptus. With notes of coffee and vanilla, this rich wine is smooth and best paired with beef or hard cheese.

Pinot Noir, California | De Loach, 2020

Located in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley, De Loach has been experimenting with combinations of rootstock, soil, and stones for other three decades in order to produce high quality Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Zinfandel wines. Opening with a bouquet of aromas including cherry, cranberry and strawberry, this Pinot Noir uses a hint of tobacco and a touch of spice to complement. Chardonnay, Niagara | Peller Estates, 2021

An upbringing on a farm gave Katie Dickieson an appreciation for the land and a love for the harvest season. Experiencing grape harvests in New Zealand and France, this Guelph Gryphon combined her love of agriculture and affinity towards science to become an expert winemaker. Clear and bright, this straw yellow chardonnay adds a touch of oak to a nose of red apple, pear and golden kiwi. Light, smooth, and easy-drinking, a hint of oak is greeted with pear and honeydew melon flavours to start. Finishing with yellow apple, pear and slightly sweet spice notes, this wine pairs well with salad and white fish.

Sauvignon Blanc, Chile | TerraNoble, 2022

Founded in 1993, a group of visionaries were on a mission to pioneer the Maule Valley to produce fine wines. Translating to “Noble Land”, the winery strives to recognize the majesty of the soils in the region. The respect the winegrowers show to the soil allows the Maule Valley to continue to delivery excellent wines. Presented with straw yellow and greenish tones, this Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of lime, tropical fruit, grapefruit and hints of asparagus. With fresh and balanced acidity and a long finish, flavours of citrus fruits and herbal notes come through on the palate. Enjoy this wine with white meats, ceviche or grilled vegetables.

Pinot Grigio, Italy | Terre Gaie, 2021

A translation to English turns Terre Gaie into “Happy Lands.” Directed by Salvatore Lovo, this family-run winery is located within a cluster of volcanic hills known as the Colli Euganei. With mostly indigenous grapes, the Lovo and Ferasin families continue a long winemaking tradition, producing 150,000 thousand bottles of high-quality wines each year This Pinot Grigio is a perfect wine to enjoy on a patio! Light, dry and refreshing, the bouquet is slightly nutty with citrus and acacia flower aromas. A palate of light citrus and hazelnut overtones is finished with a tinge of acidity. Marinara risottos, seafood tapas or oven-baked fish make great partners for this wine.

Rose, Cotes Du Rhone | Chateau du Trignon, 2021

Located in Gigondas, Chateau du Trignon has vineyards spread over six appellations in the Southern Rhone valley. Since 1748 or earlier, the Quiot family has worked in the vineyards of the Rhone valley to produce terroir-oriented wines. Continuing in their family’s footsteps, Florence and Jean-Baptiste Quiot dedicate themselves to producing high-quality estate bottled wines. A charming and playful rose with a tangy pink colour. Tangy pink in colour with a nose of fresh strawberry, longan and yellow roses followed by a light and refreshing floral taste on the palate. Well balanced and smooth lengthy finish, enjoy this rose with vegetables and white meats off the grill.

Prosecco, Italy | Cabert, Non-Vintage

Cabert was established in the heart of the “Grave del Friuli” plains in 1960 within the farming village of Bertiolo. Their approachable wines, produced in one of the most renowned grape growing zones of Italy’s Controlled Origin Denomination, are made with respect for the land, the vines and modern and traditional techniques. Produced with the Glera (Formerly known as Prosecco) varietal, Cabert achieves a soft sparkling wine. Made with the Charmat Method, the fine bubbles are accompanied by fresh, floral and fruity flavours. A happy medium between dry and sweet with low acidity, this wine is perfect for raising a glass as an aperitif or paired with a fruitcake.
