“Cobble Clean” is our company's response to the Covid-19 pandemic

Cobble Beach is committed to playing its part in mitigating the spread of Covid-19. With adapted measures focusing on safety, sanitary conditions and physical distancing, we welcome you to our property with a sense of security, safety and optimism.
 

Current Rules & Regulations

Before you arrive, you must verify that...

  1. You have completed and passed the screening protocols found here: Covid-19 Customer Screening.
  2. You and your guests have not returned from international travel in the past 14 days.
  3. You and your guests have not had any close contact with someone diagnosed with Covid-19 within the past 14 days.
  4. You and your guests have not been in close contact with anyone who travelled internationally in the past 14 days.
  5. You and your guests have not experienced any cold or flu like symptoms in the past 14 days.
New Policies & Procedures:
  • There will be no housekeeping services during your stay. If you require additional towels or toiletries​ please contact the front desk.
  • All payments will be taken 24-hours prior to your arrival on the card you provided at the time of booking.
  • We are encouraging contactless check-in.
  • We've updated our cancellation policy to give you peace-of-mind when booking.
  • Masks are mandatory when entering all public spaces.
  • Physical distancing is mandatory at all times. 
  • New Surgically Clean Air Purifying units have been placed in each inn suite and cottage. These units use powerful, multi-stage filtration technologies which remove airborne particulates, pathogens and pollutants giving you fresh, clean and re-energized air.
  • Tee times must be pre-booked & pre-paid, no walk-ins are permitted.
  • You may show up 30 minutes in advance of your tee time (no earlier).
  • Physical distancing is mandatory at all times. 
  • Contactless check-in for members and guests, alike.
  • New hand-wash locations throughout the property.
  • Power carts are disinfected after each use.
  • No sharing of equipment and please refrain from shaking hands after your round.
Indoor dining is currently prohibited. Room service is available Friday and Saturday between 4-8pm. 
 


When indoor dining reopens...
  • Prior to being seated, all guests must complete the contact tracing form here
  • Menus, comment cards and other collateral are all available online here.
  • Tables have been spaced over 2 metres apart.
  • Face coverings must be worn at all times except when eating or drinking.
  • Tables, chairs and menus are sanitized between customers.
  • Enhanced focus on our already strict sanitation protocols.
  • Staff do not come to work if they are sick or showing any symptoms.
  • Only food service employees are allowed in the kitchen.

Please note: As of September 22, 2021, Ontarians will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide their proof of vaccination along with photo ID to access certain public settings and facilities. This approach focuses on higher-risk indoor public settings where face coverings cannot always be worn. Face coverings in indoor public settings and physical distancing requirements remain in place at this time.

  • Indoor Dining: Proof of vaccination is required for customer access.
  • Outdoor Patio Dining, Take-Out and Room Service: Proof of vaccination is NOT required for customer access.
  • Facial services are currently prohibited.
 
  • No walk-in clients will be served at this time, to ensure safety for everyone.
  • Cancellation policies are in effect; however, we strongly encourage rescheduling if you have any flu-like symptoms before your appointment.
  • You must complete and pass the screening protocols found here, in order for your service to be booked in and confirmed. Covid-19 Customer Screening.

During Your Service:
  • Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your service to update a health history form.
  • Lockers, robes and flip-flops will be provided, however at this time, we do not encourage excessive lounging in our common areas.
  • Physical distancing is mandatory at all times. 
  • All Spa Therapists will be wearing masks, and (other PPE if required) while performing services.
  • Masks must remain on during your service, unless the service is a facial or facial waxing. Guests will be directed when it is safe to remove during the time of their service.
  • All tools and professional materials are all disposable and sanitized in between treatments with appropriate guidelines from Public Health.
  • Appointments and site tours must be pre-booked.
  • Masks are mandatory when visiting the Sales Centre.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of common/high-touch surfaces.
  • Physical distancing is mandatory at all times. 
  • Employees and visitors will have access to hand sanitizer, gloves and masks.
  • Visitors showing signs of illness will not be permitted to remain in the Sales Centre. 
  • All printed materials (brochures, magazines, tourist handouts) will remain in a storage area rather than being on display. These materials can be provided to clients if requested. 
  • All provision of water, coffee, etc. is suspended.
  • Physical distancing is mandatory at all times. If a task requires close proximity of less than 2 meters, staff will be required to wear a mask/face covering. 
  • Staff must sanitize their hands before entering the shop and frequently throughout the day. 
  • All tools and equipment will be disinfected after each use and at the end of the day. 
  • Staff are encouraged to have staggered breaks and lunches. 
  • There will be restricted use of the maintenance facility. Designated personnel will be allowed in certain areas of the shop/facility.
  • Shop cleanliness and organization remains one of our top priorities. High-touch surfaces areas are disinfected regularly. 
  • All staff must pass the Covid-19 screening guidelines prior to entering the property. 
  • All equipment will be staged and ready for use prior to staff arriving in the morning.

We have installed Surgically Clean Air Purifiers (Jade) throughout our facilities. These units utilize powerful, multi-stage filtration technologies which filter 99.998% of airborne particulates, pathogens and pollutants giving you fresh, clean and re-energized air.

Face Mask Mandate

The Grey-Bruce Public Health Board and Ontario Government have issued an Order requiring face masks to be worn in all commercial and public establishments. This applies to all facilities at Cobble Beach. To learn more about face coverings and face masks please visit Ontario.ca.
