COBBLE BEACH GOLF LINKS

The vision of Cobble Beach was the dream of the late Willis McLeese. Both Willis and his son Rob McLeese were committed to creating an environmentally sound, beautiful and pleasing state-of-the-art golf course community based on their belief that “the purpose of life is living in agreement with nature.”

With world-renowned Pebble Beach providing the inspiration and the assistance of award-winning golf course architect Doug Carrick and a team of leading planners, engineers and environmental consultants, the Cobble Beach Golf Resort Community was created.

Cobble Beach is one of Doug Carrick’s most beautiful creations. It is a course you can play hundreds of times, and it will never play the same way twice. The rolling fairways and greens have panoramic views of the magnificent Georgian Bay, making it challenging to play and beautiful to view. Designed as a four-season resort, Cobble Beach offers a wide array of amenities, making it one of Ontario’s premier getaways for golfers and travellers alike.

History of the land

The concept of Cobble Beach was initiated in 1998, with a development plan that was sensitive to the interest of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation and the site's historical significance.
